About the Author
Born into a family of carnival owners in Texas, USA, Maxwell Ivey lost his sight at age 12. Having a natural gusto for life, Max graduated college and became heavily involved in the Eagle Scouts. He also worked in the family business alongside brothers until his father succumbed to lung cancer. Faced with his own mortality, Max made some life-altering changes. He underwent gastric surgery and lost over 250 pounds. He started his own business, buying and selling amusement rides, and learned how to blog using software for visually-impaired people. Overcoming many obstacles, Max made a name for himself online and now shares his experiences on The Blind Blogger. Max’s favourite things entail teaching and helping others achieve their goals and so he began another business: personal coaching. With the companionship of his crazy Dalmation-mix, Penny, Max now spends his days singing, reading, blogging, writing, creating videos, and coaching. He’d like to travel the world one day and meet in person his many online friends and clients . . . and a special lady to share his life with, although Penny might have something to say about that!

An absolute inspirational guy and an amazing book!

A wonderful motivational book by a promising blogger and entrepreneur. If you're looking for motivation to make something happen in your life or your business, I'd highly recommend checking out Maxwell's book. Each chapter is well written, actionable with exercises, and there's plenty to think about and reflect on, Max shares his inspiring story that will leave you amazed, how a guy can achieve so much with the obstacle of being almost entirely blind. Goal setting has never been easier and fun since reading this top guide, thanks a bunch Max, great book, great all-round guy, an inspiration to us all.

This is a truly inspirational book by a blind author ...

This is a truly inspirational book by a blind author whose positive and uplifting outlook on life is contagious. He truly remade himself. He was obese and his health was failing. He knew he had to do something about his life, so he lost several hundred pounds and proceeded to start a business, become a coach and inspirational speaker. The book is filled with exercises to help you take one step at a time to realize your potential. This isn't just a feel-good book. Max helps you to learn about yourself and to face your fears and don't let failure stop you.

A inspirational, educational, and very useful read.

This was on incredible read! The author is a remarkable individual who has overcome several life challenges, making what most might think his life very difficult.there are important lessons given in this book that individual should consider while reading. I have read the entire book, didn't listen to the authors note and stop where he told me to, but will be going back through and answering all of the questions.that's what I like about this, the blind blogger is interacting with all of his readers, especially those who choose to follow directions! That's the type of individual I personally like to work with, someone who will follow directions and ask questions.
