About the Author
Erik W. Chase has a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Communications who is a Texas native, Missouri transplant, likes a good food buffet like the rest of them, has a cat with a dog personality, a dog with a cat personality, a dog with 3 legs, and lives with his East-Coast Italian mother who is hearing impaired but isn't afraid to be heard. His mom and his recently passed dad are his greatest inspirations of God's great work.

Great Book!

I really enjoyed reading "Here's the Skinny on Big Fat me" and hated to put it down. It made me laugh, feel sad, but most of all realize how hard and addiction is to live with.
This book is not only a story about the authors life, but this book explains the daily challenges and struggles a person with an addiction has to battle each day. **food addiction is jut like any other addiction (gambling, sex, drugs, alcohol etc...) except food addiction results are visible to everyone that crosses your path. Therefore most people that are overweight get prejudged as lazy or made fun of without the insulter knowing the underlying factor that caused the weight gain or the addiction.
I thank Erik for sharing his story and hope that others will learn as much from it as I did.

Wonderful book by Erik W. Chase....

I recently purchased Here's the Skinny On a Big Fat Me by Erik Chase. It is a wonderful read about his struggle of being an overweight individual from a child through adulthood. It discussed very serious issues that he faced over the years. In it he described his transformation to a very confident and strong adult. It has a serious tone with dashes of humor added in- and he gets the point across loud and clear. I would highly recommend this book to others and I look forward to reading his upcoming books, This would be a great book for both personal reading and gifting to others.

A Revelation

I had the privilege of being Erik's pastor for a few years. Although we had many frank discussions, not until I read this book did I begin to fully comprehend the struggles behind the man. The book is rough around the edges being his first endeavor, but that fits with a life that has also been rough around the edges. It is a great read. Hard to put down. It has made a positive change in my view of others, wondering what hidden struggles they may have. I recommend this book and look forward to reading more from Mr. Chase.
