About the Author
Gary H. Peck is an ordained minister with a graduate degree in spiritual formation, and he has served for a number of years in pastoral ministry. He is currently a tobacco treatment specialist and pulmonary clinical specialist at a large metropolitan medical center. He has also authored the book: Rise from the Ashes - The Spiritual Path to a Smoke-Free Life.

Radiantly transforming

This book is equal to hundreds of spiritual, personal growth books combined into one. Through the years, I have read many books on spirituality, holistic topics and personal growth. No book has touched by heart and soul quite like this one. The root cause of all addiction is an empty void, an abyss that is often filled with destructive habits, like addiction to food, shopping, sex, relationships, drugs, alcohol and so much more.
As I read this book, I became aware and conscious of how my daily habits, attachments and addictions, will improve once I get God on my “team”. I went from feeling powerless to totally inspired, motivated and powerful as I journeyed through the stages. Trapped emotions and thoughts, came bubbling up to the surface ready to be released. I got rid of old habits, patterns and behaviors, that no longer serve me. As I “cleaned out my life” I became closer to God and developed deeper faith and trust. I looked at my life from a whole different lens. All of my perceptions changed, I developed a deeper understanding of myself , others and God. This book stays next to my bed and I refer to it often for daily inspiration. When I pick it up, I am often divinely and intuitively guided to exactly what lesson of truth I need in that moment.
Gary has combined his energy and passion for spirituality with deep wisdom, knowledge, compassion and understanding of the human journey. I felt soothed and comforted by his words and style of writing. He uses personal and family examples to teach us, the reader how to add a “God connection” to our quest for personal growth and freedom. Gary has a unique way of showing us, the reader, how to apply Biblical principles to our daily life to transform struggles into triumph.
At a time when so many of us our trying to improve our habits for the sake of our wellness, this book is a reminder that motivation and “will power” cannot happen alone. We truly need “God Power” to change our ways. We need the deep intimate source of our Creator in order to grow, evolve and change into the best human version of ourself. As a health, life and wellness coach , I will refer many clients to this invaluable tool, which needs to be on the shelf of anyone seeking personal growth and transformation.
